Start with the bus ride out of the busy city to Binh Chanh town where you will set gear for the bike and start the ride through small yet quite countryside road. Make a turn at Go Den town toward Vam Co Dong river with plenty of chance to see fruit, vegetable gardens and countryside market until you reach to the ferry and cross to Tan Tru district. Visit the temple of Nguyen Trung Truc, Vietnamese hero who made the famous uprising against French during French colonial time then continue the ride along rice paddies, dragon fruit gardens to Lac Tan intersection. Stop for a coffee, snacks or even local specialties, sugarcane juice.
Continue to another ferry ride at Ky Son and cross to Chau Thanh district. Continue to ride through bumpy dirt road to DT827 and ride all the way to My Tho. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda upon arrival in My Tho. If time permits, take a boat ride to Phoenix Island to have lunch and a short visit afterward. Otherwise, lunch and drive back to Saigon.
