Next, visit to Khai Dinh Royal Tomb. It is the result of the interminglement of many architectural trends: European and Asian, as well as ancient and modern. In the afternoon, you’ll cruise along the Perfume River. Being the former royal capital, Hue’s surrounding countryside contains several of the tombs of the former Nguyen Emperors where you will get to see the Minh Mang Tomb. Back on the Perfume River, visit the Thien Mu Pagoda, an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. End of the day, relax at a café shop and taste a signature drink in Hue: the salted coffee. First appeared in Hue, because of its unique flavor, this coffee has been viral in many cities of Vietnam. Before returning to your hotel, stop at the Dong Ba Market for some souvenir shopping.
