The tour starts at 08:30. A mere 45 minutes’ drive away from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi city, Nom Village is situated on long historical land surrounded by vast green rice paddies. Then, head on a walk on a hardened road between rice paddies to visit the hundreds-year-old Nom Village. Nom Village is one of the last villages which remain the ancient beauty with a beautiful combination of a common house, an ancient well and a banyan tree. Walk on the popular 200-year-old marble bridge with getting told about its architecture & history. Stop at the village’s main central road and have a look at architectural complex of unique clan ancestral houses – Vietnamese traditional place of worship of a clan or its branches.
Explore the narrow brick roads and visit another antique house. Engage in a conversation with the host over a cup of traditional tea to learn more about local life and the traditions that define this community.
Conclude the trip with a visit to the holiest place in the village, Nom Pagoda, embedded in a century-old pine forest which is famous for its ancient Buddhist statues.Back to the city and your private car will drop you off at the hotel.
