AM/PM: Our guide will pick you up at your hotel and start a half-day city tour, including the Victory Monument and the National Museum (also known as the Musée des Beaux-Arts). Designed in Khmer style in 1917 by French archaeologist and painter Georges Groslier, the museum contains a collection of Khmer art—notably sculptures—from throughout the ages. You will also discover the Royal Palace, built by King Norodom in 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda. Located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles. The treasures found inside include a solid gold Buddha encrusted with jewels and weighing 90 kilograms, and a small 17th-century emerald and Baccarat crystal Buddha. Lastly, stop at the Central Market.
Afterward, transfer to the station to take a shuttle bus to Siem Reap.
Upon arrival in Siem Reap, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel (without a tour guide).

Breakfast at the hotel, and visit the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12th century): the South Gate with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, and the Bayon Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avolokitesvara, the Phimeanakas, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor, Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag, and the 12th-century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.
Afternoon, visit Ta Prohm, one of the area’s most beautiful temples. Ta Prohm has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. After the visit, Ta Prohm, if time and energy permit, visit Old Market for some souvenirs for friends and families.

Discover the holy grounds of Phnom Kulen, with its waterfall, giant reclining Buddha, and riverbed carvings.
We begin the tour by venturing off the beaten path, followed by an awe-inspiring drive up the mountain, where we will explore the abundant greenery and Kulen Waterfall on Kulen Mountain.
Take a dip if you like, or just sit back and watch the locals enjoy their sacred land. Make your way up to the River of a Thousand Lingas, a beautiful river with sophisticated carvings covering its floor. Get a blessing the Cambodian way with holy water from this sacred river. Hike up to the peak of the mountain to see the beautiful pagoda and its world-famous reclining Buddha at rest.
Enjoy a picnic lunch near the waterfall at your own expense.
Then, relax for a comfortable, air-conditioned ride back to the city!
Keep in mind:
- Bring a swimsuit.
- Bring sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun!
- Bring mosquito repellent—there are pesky bugs all over Cambodia!
- We recommend wearing comfortable shoes—a 10–20-minute walk on a small trail is required.

In the morning, enjoy a boat ride on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest permanent freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. It flows into the Tonle Sap River, which joins the Mekong in Phnom Penh. You will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, a floating police station, and more.
In the afternoon, visit Wat Thmey, home to Siem Reap Killing Fields memorial. It is located about 3 km from the center of Siem Reap along the road leading out of Angkor. While seemingly ordinary at first glance, with nothing to suggest a prolonged visit, a small, rather gruesome building stands beside the pagoda. Afterward, continue to the Satcha Handicraft Center, the first Cambodian handicraft center that incubates local artisans, mixing traditional knowledge with contemporary design. It showcases Cambodian talents to local and international visitors and transmits this know-how over time while having a sustainable social, economic, and environmental impact.
