Today you will experience the vibrant atmosphere of Hanoi’s city streets from the back of an e-bike. Get off the crowded tourist trail to visit some fascinating places and sites that you could never find on your own. Zip through bustling streets, iconic monuments, local market, quiet alleyways and hidden backstreets to encounter the lives of local Hanoians.
We start driving thru the French Old Quarter passing by beautiful French buildings such as the State Guest House, the first 5-star hotel of Hanoi known as Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, History Museum before making our first stop in front of Hanoi Opera House.
We continue our fun ride thru the most notorious black market called Cho Troi where vendors sell everything from car parts and metal springs to TV remotes. Some old, some new, some possibly stolen and the majority of the goods are mechanical items. On our ride we will be passing by Hoa Lo prison known as Hanoi Hilton (sarcastically nicknamed by American POWs during Vietnam war).
Heading into the old quarter of Hanoi which is known as home to a mix of Vietnamese, Chinese, French architectures, green spaces, ancient houses, shops, street food stalls. Driving thru Thanh Ha colorful market offering the best opportunity to explore the daily life of Hanoi People.
Short stop at the Train Street for great Kodak moments if the local government allows.
Driving pass by Ho Chi Minh mausoleum before heading to Thanh Nien road to enjoy the West lake and stop at the monument of John McCain by Truc Bach lake.
Our tour ends up with a cup of egg coffee, a delightful way to conclude the day.
