Upon arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide holding a sign with your name on it. After an approximately 50-minute to 1-hour transfer, you will arrive at your hotel for check-in.

Hanoi, or “River-bound City” as its name literally means, is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history dating back to 1010. The city’s fascinating beauty, which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets with antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and romantic lakes, has made it one of the most charming cities in Asia.

Start your half-day city tour with a visit to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam, built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honor Confucius, sages, and outstanding Vietnamese scholars. Afterward, head to the city center to visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, located on an islet in the lake. Hoan Kiem Lake is the center point of Hanoi and home to a rare, endangered giant turtle species. Its name, “Returned Sword,” comes from a legend of a sacred sword being lent to an ancient Vietnamese king by a holy turtle from the lake and later returned to the turtle. Then, enjoy a 1-hour cyclo ride while watching the daily life of the city.

Be welcomed onboard, and lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary), or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board.

Enjoy the fresh morning in the middle of the bay. The sun rises on Ha Long in the morning, and breakfast is served (brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruise slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards the port. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi, arriving late in the afternoon.

You are free at leisure before being transferred by our driver to Noi Bai International Airport for your flight departure.

Upon arrival at Da Nang Airport, you will be picked up by our guide and driver, then transferred to your hotel for check-in.

In the morning, depart for Ba Na Hills, or Chua Mount (Mount of the Goddess), passing the seashore on Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, one of the most beautiful roads in Da Nang City, and Red Beach. Ba Na Hills used to be a small French resort nestled in the mountains and recently has been turning into the most well-known amusement park in Vietnam, thanks to its good location, formation, and climate.

Arrive at the cable car station at the foot of Ba Na Mountain. Enjoy the first leg cable car, which achieves two Guinness World Records as the longest non-stop cable car (5,042m) and the highest non-stop cable car (1,292m). The cable cars were built to access the mountaintop of Ba Na Hills, but they’re also the perfect way to get spectacular views of Danang and the surrounding forests.

Upon reaching Ba Na Hills, start the trip with a visit to Golden Bridge, which is designed to connect the cable car station with the main gardens of this mountaintop. It also provides a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. The gold-colored walkway is lined with purple Lobelia Chrysanthemums and is 150 meters long with two giant hands, constructed of fiberglass and wire mesh. These two hands appear like stone hands that support the structure.

After the Golden Bridge, we’ll continue to visit Le Jardin d’Amour, the remains of French Villas, and Linh Ung Pagoda with its 27m-high Buddha statue. We then leave Le Jardin for the second cable car station to visit the top of the mountain, where there are remains of the old French villas. Start conquering the Peak of Chua Mount at the height of 1,487m, viewing the whole of Da Nang City under the cluster of white clouds. After the Peak of Chua Mount, visit the trail of Dreaming Stream, Rainbow Waterfall, Suspension Bridge, Golden Valley, and the ruined Opera House. Play with wild monkeys and take photos. Enjoy free time until it's time to return to the cable car station to go back to the foot of the mountain. Transfer back to Da Nang City.

Our tour guide will wait and pick you up at your hotel in Danang to transfer you to Hoi An in an air-conditioned vehicle. It takes 45 minutes to drive there.

Once a bustling maritime commercial port in Asia between the 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi An, recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, is now a peaceful town with exceptionally well-preserved architecture, lifestyles, and traditions. The town exemplifies a fascinating fusion of cultures between Vietnam and the outside world, including China, Japan, Thailand, and the Philippines. Your sightseeing will include the iconic 400-year-old Covered Bridge with a small temple attached to one side as a prominent example of Japanese architecture; the Museum of Trade Ceramics, which is an elegant Vietnamese-style wooden house built in 1858, showcasing antique ceramic artifacts; the 200-year-old Tan Ky House, typifying an ancient Chinese merchant residence; Ong Temple, built in 1653 by Chinese settlers to worship Guan Yu, an ancient Chinese general whose character stands for loyalty, bravery, and justice; and the local market, vibrant with colors and activities.

Enjoy free time at your leisure until your transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight departure.

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, you will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Ho Chi Minh City, formerly and still commonly known as Saigon, is the most populous city in Vietnam. Vibrating with energy and innovation, the city is the economic heart of Vietnam and the main hub of the southern region. As a cosmopolitan metropolis of the country, its dynamic cityscape, combining the old and the new of Vietnam, has made it one of the most attractive destinations for visitors.

Meet our guide at your hotel and embark on a full-day city tour. Start with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits, including weaponry, photos, and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans. Continue to the Reunification Palace, which was formerly the South Vietnam President’s residence and a symbol of the Southern Administration’s reign until the end of April 1975.

In the afternoon, continue the tour with a visit to Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, a neo-Roman cathedral built over 130 years ago by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles. Call in at Saigon Central Post Office, a fine colonial building that was designed and built in the early 20th century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel. Move on to Cho Lon, or the city’s Chinatown, where you will visit the Jade Emperor Temple (Phuoc Hai), a rare Taoist structure in Vietnam, built in 1909 in dedication to the Lord of Heaven.

In the morning, travel by car to the Mekong Delta, the world’s largest delta and Vietnam's largest rice bowl. Upon arrival in My Tho City, the capital of Tien Giang Province, board a motorboat and navigate through intricate canals while observing local daily life up close, as well as the landscape of waterways and lush islands. Land on Thoi Son Island to listen to Southern traditional music performed by native artists. Continue the tour with a paddle boat to cruise more canals before visiting households with traditional occupations, such as home-based coconut candy and rice-wine making. Switch back to a motorboat to go to a bee farm to enjoy fresh honey tea and fresh fruits. On the way back to My Tho, stop to visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, a prominent local Buddhist structure built in 1850 with a unique architectural mixture of Vietnamese, Roman, Chinese, and Cambodian styles, characterized by a highly ornate façade.

Overnight at the hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

In the morning, take a half-day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, 75 km northwest of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and later on, the Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked, multilevel passageways that at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaled over 120 km in length. Its complexity was beyond imagination, containing meeting rooms, kitchens, wells, clinics, schools, depots, trenches, and emergency exits, all aimed at guerrilla warfare. The tunnels were deep and strong enough to withstand destructive bombings and self-contained enough to outlast prolonged sieges. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for your next destination.

Our tour guide will meet and pick you up at your hotel to transfer you to Tan Son Nhat International Airport in an air-conditioned vehicle.
